Trump Administration Slammed for Removing Endangered Species Protections for Iconic Grey Wolf

The move was slammed by conservation groups, which said that while wolf numbers have partly recovered since grey wolf was first listed in 1974, they remain 'functionally extinct' in the vast majority of their former range.
